Professional Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes & Practice
The Professional Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes & Practice is a programme designed for people wishing to internally quality assure their own training programmes.
Please note that IQAs must also be qualified as an Assessor at a minimum, and for good practice also as a Tutor.
This programme is excellent for those who are responsible for ensuring that the teaching team is working effectively and consistently, or as a refresher for those coming back into quality assurance.
You will be provided with all materials and supported by a Guidance Assessor who will provide support and mark each assessment. If you are completely new to this role, you might also find it beneficial to purchase an interactive 4 hour live session with our Master Trainer for £150+VAT, which would be scheduled to take place at the beginning of your study.
This Professional Award is 79.5 hours total qualification time and must be completed within six months of receiving the materials. It covers the following units:
- Understanding the principles and practice of internal quality assurance
- Planning for internal quality assurance
- Practical application of internal quality assurance
All students who achieve a full Pass will receive a certificate from PD:Approval and have the opportunity to join PD:Verified, our recently launched international professional register for qualified tutors, assessors and internal quality assurers.
